OData & API URL builder
Build the address for Business Central's API v2.0, a custom API or a published OData web service: pick the records, fields, filters and sort order, and get a URL that's quoted and encoded the way Business Central expects, with curl, Python and Power Query to call it. Nothing is sent anywhere; this page only writes the URL.
URL
How it's put together
Follows Microsoft's documented URL formats: api.businesscentral.dynamics.com/v2.0/{tenant}/{environment}/api/v2.0/companies({id})/… for the standard API, /api/{publisher}/{group}/{version}/ for custom API pages and queries, and /ODataV4/Company('{name}')/{service} for pages and queries published on the Web Services page. Filters use OData v4 syntax: text in single quotes (an apostrophe inside is written twice), dates and numbers without quotes, and contains, startswith and endswith for text. The field lists cover common API v2.0 fields, not all of them; type any other name into the boxes. Online, Business Central only accepts OAuth tokens (Microsoft Entra ID), so the snippets leave the token to you. Check a URL's fields against the entity's $metadata if Business Central says a property doesn't exist.
